Our History
Voice for Equity is a refugee-led nonprofit founded on May 25, 2022 (formerly IAOD – Initiative and Advocacy for Orphans Development). We exist to amplify marginalized voices and create pathways to equity, inclusion, and empowerment for orphans, vulnerable youth, and underserved communities. We believe every person—regardless of background—deserves the chance to thrive. Through education, mentorship, and community-driven advocacy, we dismantle barriers, nurture potential, and build inclusive futures where dignity and opportunity are accessible to all.

Our mission at Voice for Equity is to advocate for social justice and equality by empowering orphans, minority groups, and individuals in vulnerable situations. Through education, mentorship, and community engagement, we create a nurturing environment where all individuals can develop the skills, confidence, and opportunities to succeed and contribute meaningfully to society.
